City Ride & Safety Training

What is the purpose of this day?

The goal is to train students as broadly as possible. We would also like to make our students aware of the dangers of driving a car and keep them out of the danger zone. With this day we give our trainees an extra steer towards independence and introduce them to new situations such as matrix signs, rush-hour lanes, presents, etc. We are going to drive a route from Venlo, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Apeldoorn to Barneveld and back or towards Maastricht (bit through Maastricht) and back, the students will have to divide attention well because this will be unfamiliar territory.

What does this day look like?

Through this way we want to inform you about the course of this fun and highly educational day.
  • Meeting at 8 a.m. at the traffic school.
  • Departure from the driving school at approximately 8:15 a.m.
  • Freeway Training / City Ride (from 08:15 – 12:30).
  • At about 12:30 p.m. we will all go out for a bite to eat.
  • Starting around 1:30 p.m., the Driving Under Specefic Circumstances (ROSO) training will begin. You will be offered a 3-hour workout on a closed area. During this training you will brake and swerve on slippery and semi-slippery road surfaces and we will train in making emergency stops.
  • If the training is successfully completed, each student will receive an officially recognized certificate.
  • All candidates will be back at the traffic school around 5 p.m.
